Mr. Maqbool Ahmad Hajam is a resident of Gond Thethar village of Ramban District. He enters the beekeeping business and started with 50 boxes. He got training on beekeeping from SKUAST-Jammu. Now, he is one of the leading honey producers of Jammu district with as annual production of 11200 kg honey from 350 boxes. He practices migratory beekeeping and has developed migratory routes for honey production and colony multiplication. He migrates his bee colonies to Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh.
