It is designed to give the optimum duration for ski learning and enjoying the breathtaking Gulmarg tour. The first day of this ski course will start from the arrival day when you reach Gulmarg. At the airport, our representative will welcome you and drive you to Gulmarg. The drive in itself is scenic. It first goes via the National Highway and reaches Tangmarg. From Tangmarg it is a drive through the dense pine forest. The snow-covered forest looks stunningly beautiful. The drive is on snow and has twists and turns as winds up to Gulmarg. Gulmarg will give you an otherworldly vibe. It is amazingly gorgeous with all the landscape that it has. You will be taken to our cottage in Gulmarg just near the ski slope. After evening refreshment, your instructor will have a greet and meet session with you. He will give you a brief about your 7-day ski course. The instructor will give you the safety measures that you will have to follow. He will outline the course inclusions. In the evening you can roam around Gulmarg and see its famous locations. The next five days are your ski learning days. You will be learning and practicing basic skiing techniques. The basic techniques make sure by the end of the ski course you can ski comfortably and safely on the basic slopes anywhere in the world. The morning sessions will give you a brief about the ski equipment like ski pairs. How to tie your ski shoes. The techniques include how to balance on a ski which is an essential part of the course. It will then make you practice how to glide down, and how to stop. And further how to take your turns while you are skiing down. From left to right and then how to ride on bumps and mounds. The instructor will teach everything even how to rise from a fall and even how to fall safely. The 7-day Gulmarg ski course will make sure you know all the basics about skiing. And practice on your own by the end of the course. The 7- day Gulmarg ski course will give you enough time to learn and also to roam around Gulmarg and do sightseeing. The day’s practice will finish before the evening, and you will have all your evenings for sightseeing. In the evenings hit the cafes and restaurants to relax and enjoy. Yes, you can get all the gear on rent which is what we advise. Normally people ski rarely, buying all your gear would be costly. Taking gear on rent is always recommended which is easy on your pocket. We have rent items like ski goggles, ski gloves, ski jackets, and buffs available for rent. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival.

• Welcome to Kashmir

Day 2: Learn Basic Techniques & Balancing

• After breakfast you will be directed to the ski slope. After reaching the slopes you will meet your ski instructor, you will start with warming up your body with some basic exercises which is necessary for skiing. Today your ski instructor will teach you some basic ski techniques and also teach you to balance yourself on the skis. After spending your day on the slopes you will travel back to your hotel.

Day 3: Day 3: Learning Snowplough

• Today will repeat the same instructions. You will start by warming up your body. After that you will continue your lessons from previous day and try to ski with balance. Your ski instructor will teach you a basic technique of stopping your skis (snowplough). With this technique you can control the speed of your skis or you can stop while skiing.

Day 4: Ski Yourself Freely with Confidence

• After reaching the slopes you will start by warming up your body. You will start of by riding the slope and practising your snowplough and balancing your skis. Today your ski instructor will teach you how to turn your left and right while riding a slope. You will start of by learning to turning your skis using snowplough technique. It is an easy technique, you will turn your skis using your body weight while speed of your skis is less and under your control. You will continue to learn this technique throughout the day. In the afternoon you will ski yourself freely with confidence on the slope.

Day 5: Learn Parallel Turn - Intermediate Level

• After reaching the slopes you will start by warming up your body. First you will continue practising to turn your skis while in snowplough, Later your ski instructor will teach you an intermediate level technique (parallel turns), that is turning your skis while maintaining speed. Once you learn these turns you will become a confident skier.

Day 6: Practicing What You Have Learnt

• After reaching the slopes you will start by warming up your body. Then you will be practicing what you have learnt in previous days and will be skiing confidently.

Day 7: Departure

• You will be going back to home with awesome memories.
