Day 1: Arrival in Leh and Acclimatization
Arrive at Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day resting and acclimatizing to the altitude. In the evening, visit Shanti Stupa for panoramic sunset views and take a short stroll through Leh Market. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, begin with a visit to Leh Palace, then head west of the city to explore Magnetic Hill, the Sangam (confluence of Indus and Zanskar Rivers), Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and the Hall of Fame Museum. Return to your hotel by late afternoon. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
Post breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley through Khardung La Pass. Stop at the top for photos and tea before descending into the beautiful valley. Visit Diskit Monastery and explore the Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can take a camel ride on double-humped Bactrian camels. Overnight stay in Hunder or Diskit.
Day 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route
Leave Nubra after breakfast and take the scenic Shyok route to Pangong Lake, known for its shifting blue hues and wide open landscapes. Arrive by afternoon and relax by the lakeside. Enjoy stargazing at night. Overnight stay in a camp near Pangong.
Day 5: Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La Pass
Wake up early for sunrise views, then start your drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass. On the way, you can stop at Thiksey Monastery or Shey Palace if time allows. Reach Leh by evening and rest. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6: Free Day in Leh (Shopping / Optional Rafting or Monastery Visit)
Use this day to relax, explore Leh on your own, or take up optional activities like white-water rafting at Zanskar, visiting Stok Palace, or doing a local village walk. You can also enjoy a traditional Ladakhi dinner. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 7: Departure from Leh
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey.
